Two of our Virtual Academy 2nd graders who had been classified as English Learners when they entered school, have officially achieved English proficiency, as recognized by the state of California. Both students have been testing at a high level for over a year and getting excellent marks in class. Reclassification is a significant accomplishment as it bolsters their academic success and will open up more opportunities to pursue their college and career goals when they move on to secondary school.
